Design for a single family dwelling
Regulations require the ground floor to be raised 1.4m above the lane because the site lies on a floodplain. This constraint works in the dwellings favour as increased security and separation is given from the rugged laneway.
Bedrooms are on the ground floor where light and views are relatively poor.
Living areas are on the upper floor where there is plenty of sunlight and great views over the surrounding roofscape.
